Introduction:
The most iconic historical building in Macau, the Ruins of St. Paul's, was originally constructed in 1637 as a Catholic church. The stone facade, blending Eastern and Western architectural styles, features five tiers of intricate carvings that narrate religious stories. In 2005, it was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, symbolizing Macau's unique fusion of Chinese and Western cultures.
